Dad's favorite yearly chore: Trying to get the tree to stand up straight. No matter how much rigging he does, it is ALWAYS crooked by the time it gets put together. Every year, for the last 5 years anyway, we say this is our tree's last Christmas! But, we still end up using the sad tree. This year, it is even missing the bottom row of branches. We didn't remember til we had it put together that last year, we lost a ring of our branches. So, our tree is extra awkward this year! Can you tell?
We must have done a good job because Rylie didn't want to stop looking at it and begged to sleep underneath the tree. (Can you tell how high off the ground the lowest branch is? Thats ok - makes Rylie's special night under the lights possible!!!)
